The Red & Black New Orleans Style Second Line Band is going to make a huge difference in the way the Blanc et Noir march, dance and smile. We aren't arriving with a group of shuffling Dixieland players - which are marvelous beings in a room like Preservation Hall, New Orleans. We are steaming ashore - both Rex and Zulu traditionally *arrive* in the city via boat - with a boiler full of explosive melody.

This just arrived from Red & Black leader Daryl Williams, who plays trombone and is down front. Evidently they played a parade this weekend. I believe it to be a Monroe parade, but I'll post details when I get them.
